Governor Strickland "endorsed the creation of a tough federal law requiring utilities by 2025 to generate 25 percent of the power they sell with renewable technologies. That's twice what the governor was able to get through the Ohio legislature last year in his energy and utility bill.
"We believe we need a national standard," he told thousands of enthusiastic wind business advocates attending the opening session of the annual meeting of the American Wind Energy Association."
